The tiger (Latin: Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species with a total body length of up to 3.38 meters (incl. Curves) and in extreme cases with a weight of up to 388.7 kg in the wild. The most recognizable feature of tiger fur with dark stripes on orange background. Tigers are topprædatorer found mostly of ungulates such as deer and Bovidae. They are territorial and chase generally alone, but can sometimes be social, and usually requires contiguous areas that meet their prey. This along with the fact that they are indigenous to some of the most densely populated parts of the world, caused significant conflicts with humans.
