Thick Tower Sibiu (German Dicker Turm) is a tower built in the sixteenth century in the city of Sibiu, which was part of the fortifications later incorporated belt defense of the city. It is located on City and Coposu Boulevard (formerly Avenue 23 August from the communist period). The building of the tower was installed in 1788 the first theater of the city, founded by typographer Martin Hochmeister.
