The Vascello villa,also known as villa Giraud after one of the historic owners, is a historic villa in the city of Rome,now divided into two private properties. The main palace was heavily damaged following the fighting during thesiege of Rome in 1849. The interior decorations were, according to the testimonies, very rich, following the canons of the Baroque. On the main floor were three galleries adorned with mirrors and trophies paved in black and white majolica. The vault of the main gallery was adorned with various frescoes
