Termunten is a dutch village from the 15th century where the river the Old Ae flowed out into the Eems- Dollard. In 1724 a dam (Ã¢â¬ËzijlÃ¢â¬â¢) was built in the old Ae, where the beautiful fishing village Termunterzijl came into development. Interesting in this harbour is the Ã¢â¬ËBoog van ZielÃ¢â¬â¢ (the bow of Soul), a stone bridge from 1725.
