The Temple of Venus and Rome (Templum Veneris et Romae) was the largest known temple of ancient Rome. Located in the eastern part of the Roman Forum all the space between the Colosseum and the Basilica of Maxentius. It was dedicated to the goddesses Venus Felix (Venus the bearer of good fortune) and Roma Aeterna.
