A replica of the famed Bluenose, Bluenose II is a typical Nova Scotia Grand Banks fishing schooner and built from the same plans at the same yard in Lunenburg. Bluenose was built for both fishing and for the International Fisherman`s Trophy series of races between Canada and the U.S. She was undefeated and her likeness graced the Canadian dime and stamps.
