| Talatal Ghar is known to be the largest of all Ahom monuments built in the world. It was originally constructed as an army base by Swargadeo Rajeshwar Singha. The structure has three underground floors and two tunnels that were built as escape routes for the king and his army. Its splendid architecture sets it apart from other historical structure built during the same period. |
