A novel by Johann David Wyss, first published in 1812, about a Swiss family shipwrecked in the East Indies en route to Port Jackson, Australia. The story became a Disney feature film and the treehouse replica is featured in Disneyland, Anaheim, CA. Over time the treehouse theme was later converted to Tarzan`s Treehouse.
