| Ayutthaya è una cittàthailandese, a circa 80 km a nord di Bangkok. Era la capitale del Regno del Siam, nonché un prospero porto di commercio internazionale dal 1350, finché fu rasa al suolo dai birmani nel 1767. Le rovine della cittàvecchia ora costituiscono il Parco storico di Ayutthaya, sito archeologico che contiene palazzi, templi buddisti, monasteri e statue. |
