Massive serene stone faces that grace the many towers of Bayon temple in Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Bayon temple is one of the largest Mahayan Buddhist temples in the Angkor complex. It was build in the heart of Angkor Thom, contracted in the late 12th and 13th centuries Ad during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.
