žtefan; Hungarian: Szent István-torony) is a tower located on Citadel Square in Baia Mare, Romania. It stands over 40 metres (130 ft) high and it was built in a neo-Gothic style. It is one of the symbols of the city and was initially a bell tower for Saint Stephen's church, he only double-naved church in mediaeval northwest Transylvania. |
