 tefánik Observatory in Prague is the observatory on the PetÃ
â¢ÃÂn Hill intended for the general public and primarily used to popularize astronomy. It was built and operated by the Czech Astronomical Society in 1928 and underwent a major reconstruction in the 1970s. Since 1979 the observatory has been a part of the Observatory and Planetarium of the Capital City of Prague. m. Prague in addition to the observatory and planetarium in Prague`s Stromovka park, there is also the observatory in Îáblice and a joint workplace with the HaP in ÃÅeské BudÃâºjovice - Kopernik`s dome at the KleÃ
Â¥ observatory.
