| medium difficult 1.9 miles route, with an elevation gain and loss of 800 feet, brings us to Cova Tancada, a big stalactites and stalagmites cave at the Alcudia peninsula. You can combine this excursion with the route to Playa Coll Baix which has the same starting point.The way is mostly easy, but the last part is a very strong descent, not suitable for people with vertigo, where the use of hands and feet will be necessary. To explore the cave, you will need a flashlight, or better a headlamp to keep your hands free. |
