Found in south and north east Africa the southern white rhinoceros are grazing animals. They have thick leathery skin. They have two horns. Eyesight is poor but they have a strong sense of smell and excellent hearing. They can detect movement well. They live on dry grassland and savannah but need to roll in mud regularly.
