Burmese people are making offerings at the Buddha image at the Shwedagon Pagoda, a gilded stupa located in Yangon, Myanmar. The 99 metres tall pagoda is situated on Singuttare Hill, to the West of Kandawgyi Lake and dominates the Yangon skyline. It is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar. |
