The Reservoir also known as Jubilee Reservoir was built to meet the increasing demand for fresh water due to the urbanization of Kowloon. The construction designed by London dam engineers was complete in 1937 and the dam had been extended to 85 metres in height and 13.6 billion litres capacity. |
