During Semana Santa the Holy Week in Sevilla Spain there are organized numerous processions of Nazarenos. They are a form of atonement. Nazarenos have characteristic clothes, each guild has different colors. This is a religious celebration of the time before Easter. Each procession carries two platforms: one with crying Madonna and one with an inscenization of one of the stations of the Cross. At night from Holyw Friday to Holy Saturday the processions take all night. They are accompanied by orchestras. Everything starts on the Palm Sunday. Nazarenos carry candles or crosses. Kids give sweets to the spectators. It`s an important cultural and religious event for all the Cristians. This is a traditional characteristic for Andalusia.
