The sand of of Cala Mesquida is broad fine grain and nestled between low rocky ends in a dune system populated by lentisco and pines. The morphological and accessibility characteristics explain that it registers a high influx of local bathers and tourists. In Mallorca the population doubles during the summer due to the large influx of tourists.
