| Arctic Spitz comes from dogs that accompanied the ancient tribes Samoyed (hence the name of the breed) in their nomadic life. One of the most ancient northern breeds. Samoyed tribe used as sled dogs to guard herds of deer and to hunt bear and walrus. The first dogs of this breed appeared in the UK around 1890 |
