A rushing mountain waterfall with an American Bald Eagle perched on a rocky cliff – June 2006. Running Eagle Falls was named for a Native American woman warrior known for her great skill in battle. Running Eagle (Pitamakan) retreated here to this water fall for vision and guidance. This unique double falls can be easily reached by a short hiking trail, located two miles east of the Two Medicine entrance to Glacier National Park, Montana.
