Ruins of ancient hellenic city Selinunte - Temple E. Selinunte was the most westerly Hellenic colony of Greece in the part of Sicily. It was founded in 650 BC by colonists from Megara Hyblaea. The ancient city was destroyed (most probably by earthquake) after 250 BC.
