| Ruddy Shelduck /Brahminy Duck(Tadorna ferruginea) breeds in Himalayas, Ladakh, Tibet etc and migrates into Peninsular India during winter. During this time they can be seen at Fresh Water Lakes, Ponds in Pairs and some time in large flocks. Locally they are known as Surkhab(Bird with Red Wings). |
