Ruby throated hummingbird sitting on the edge of the feeder, ready to fly

These little insect looking birds come to my deck a lot during the summer. They love to stop by our hummingbird feeder and drink the sugar water we put in for them. This is a female ruby throated hummingbird. She looks like she is on the edge of the perch and ready to fly away at any moment. This picture was taken on my deck, outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
