| This tiny Ruby-throated Hummingbird is shown landing on a Trumpeter flower. This little bird was so intent on the Trumpeter blossoms that it had no idea I was in the vicinity. In fact I was less than 20 feet (about 6 meters) away and dialed in on this clump of Trumpeter blooms. You usually do not get very long to get your focus and get your shot with hummingbirds and I wanted to ready. I am very glad that I was. |
