| The Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral is located atop the Patriarchate Hill in Bucharest. The cathedral, dedicated to Saints Constantine and Helen, was built between 1654 and 1658 by Constantin Ã
žerban. Soon afterwards, the church became Wallachiaââ¬â¢s metropolitan cathedral. In 1925 the Metropolitanate was elevated to the rank of Patriarchate. |
