These Photographs where taken at El Teide in Spains Canary Islands. It is the Tallest Mountain in all of Spain, and the 3rd largest Volcano on a volcanic island next to Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa in Hawaii. The trip took over an hour to get up the windy roads. On the way back down at night I actually started to feel a little car sick from all the twists and turns. nnAround every bend the landscape seemed to change. One minute I felt as if I was in a Vast Pine Forest; around the next bend I was in a Arizona like landscape, after that I felt like I was transported to Mars, and then Tatooine. The colours are also something lovely to see. there is loads of greens, reds, oranges, and even indigo like colours built into the landscapes.nnThe experience I feel every time I go up there is like nowhere else I have ever been, and will always make it a point to try to venture up there whenever I go to the island. The mountains scenery has been host to a number of movies including One million years B.C., and the recent Clash of the titans films. nnStudies show that Teide will most likely erupt violently in the future similar to that of Vesuvius and Etna.
