| Lucy Lavers, built 1939, was part of the armada of small boats and went to to Dunkirk from Alderburgh in 1940. In 2015 , now moored at Wells after restoration, she left for Dunkirk again to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Dynamo - the evacuation of troops from the Dunkirk beaches. Taken on the day celebrating the 150 year anniversary of the original lifeboat station at Wells next the Sea Norfolk. |
