Rododendron, family of the Ericaceae. The flower color is white + soft yellow and the flowering time is from about May. The leaves are green. The adult height of this medium-sized shrub is about 300 cm. Tolerates a temperature up to -20 gr. C. and remains green throughout the winter. Has a striking inflorescence. Is well available. Suitable for a cool, sheltered place. For example, for urban public green spaces parks and forest gardens. This plant requires a moderately nutrient-rich, moisture-containing to moist, `average` soil. So not too heavy or too light soil and a fairly neutral acidity pH = 6 - 8. Requires a slightly shaded spot. May be damaged at night frost in April-May. This plant can easily be combined with `forest edge` and `border plants`, as long as they are not too close.
