Pictured is a replica fountain in front of a large mural titled `Historic Arlington` on the restored Vandergriff Office Building in Arlington, Texas. In 1892 a well was drilled in the middle of Arlington, which had a strange taste due to a high concentration of minerals. Around 1910 a stone fountain was sculpted around the well and people flocked to Arlington to drink the water which was promoted as a cure-all. This replica was erected in 1976 during the city`s centennial celebration. The mural in the background was painted by Lee and Sheri Hay, husband and wife artists whose company is named SaxonLynnArts.
