Queen of the Alps at the Schynige Platte Alpine garden. The Schynige Platte is a high mountain area at the foot of the Gumihorn in the Bernese Oberland. It lies at an altitude of about 2,000 metres. It is notable for its mountain railway, one of the highest in Switzerland, and for the famous Alpine garden.
