| A hugely popular area of the Algarve in Portugal is Lagos. One of the Algarve's major tourist destinations, Lagos has some of the finest beaches in the Algarve. The nearest beach to the town of Lagos is Praia da Batata or 'town beach' as it is also known, while a short walk outside of the main town are the beaches of Praia do Pinhao, Praia de Porto de Mos and the much photographed Praia da Dona Ana. |
