Butterfly Weed is a showy perennial flower native to Eastern North America. Scientifically known as Asclepias Tuberosa, and bloom bright orange flowers for up to two months. As a milkweed, it serves as a host for Monarch Butterflies & other pollinators. Mint flowers attract butterflies. They offer flower heads where butterflies can sit and tiny flowers close together for maximum nectar access such as Agastache - Hyssop and Hummingbird Mint and mountain mint - Pycnanthemum virginianum.
