A 1/4 scale replica of this World War 11 B-24 Liberator Bomber, proudly on display on the site of the Golf Club that is in Tocumwal in the state of New South Wales, Australia. This site in the War was a training area for some 54 Liberators used to train some 648 crew over 45 courses, from pilots to the tail gunner. After the war only one liberator remains and it is at the R.A.A.F. (Royal Australia Air Force). Museum in Werribee Victoria. The rest were stripped dismembered and melted down into ingots of aluminium. A bitterly regretted tragedy. photo taken in August 2013
