| Pitigliano is a town in the Tuscan province of Grosseto, on the border with Lazio. The quaint old town is known as the little Jerusalem, for the presence of an ancient Jewish community. Arriving in Pitigliano you can see the characteristics houses jut out from a large outcrop of tufa cliffs and surrounded on three sides by many gullies, full of caves dug into the tuff. |
