| Prehistoric rock carvings at Alta in Hjemmeluft (Norway). This drawing is situated 11,0 - 12,5 m above sea level and has been made 3200 - 2600 years ago. The antlers of reindeer are mostly too large in proportion to the little body. The measure of the antlers seems to express the importance of the figures. Probably the reindeer was important part in the religion of the population. |
