| Located in the heart of the historic city center of Pardubice, the Church of Saint Bartholomew proudly stands dominating the iconic Republic Square. One of the oldest churches in the city, it is believed to have been built around 1295 in the Romanesque style. The original church along with its neighboring monastery was unfortunately destroyed during the Hussite Wars that plagued the region from 1419 to 1443. |
