| The Neo-classical Palazzo Salerno at Piazza del Plebiscito in the Italian city of Naples replaced a former convent that was demolished in the 18th century, and was originally destined to house the Royal Cadets of the Court of Naples. It was then used as the residence of the State Minister of the Bourbon monarchs. Today, the palace serves as the headquarters of the Army in Southern Italy. |
