Owned by the church, the Cities of the Dead in New Orleans are a beautiful and significant piece of history. Body's stack in the tombs to make way for new family members of the owners of the tombs. This tomb is in disrepair because the family that owned it either died off or neglected their family burial tomb. It's still in rather good shape except the statuary has lost their heads. An iron door with a lion knocker adorns the tomb. Large and intricate, this tomb is magnificent.
