Millions of stars fill the field of view. Every spec of light is a star in this image! 7 Hours of Exposure Capture Time and over 6 Hours of Processing went into this one image... Enjoy! This image is of the Hydrogen-Alpha rich area surrounding Orions belt. Two of the three well known belt stars are visible in this image. Alnitak and Anilam are in the upper right corner and right center of this shot. The third star, Mintaka is cut off to the right of this image. The nebula that surrounds the left belt star, Alnitak, is the HorseHead Nebula (upside down in this image) and the bright Flame Nebula in the upper right. Below and to the left is the Great Orion Nebula and the Running Man Nebula to its right. The faint Hydrogen Alpha Nebulosity fills the entire frame. This was possible due to the extremely long exposure time I have into this shot. Over three nights, I have nearly a 7 Hour Exposure here!
