At the open-air museum The Funen Village you are invited inside a Funen village from HC Andersen.A visit to the museum town is like a walk in the countryside of Hans Christian Andersen. The museum consists of a number of farms and houses, all of which were originally placed in villages around the island of Funen and the islands. Here are recreated an environment with the Fyn so characteristic half-timbered buildings, with flowering gardens, fences and farm animals, pond and street - all surrounded by cultivated fields.
