| This is a Fall picture of the iconic Odeon of Herodes Atticus from the southeast corner, it is located on the southwest slope of he Acropolis of Athens, Greece. This stone theatre structure is an example of Classical architecture, the main contractor was Herodes Atticus, it featured stone benches, it had a seating capacity of 5000, it was completed in 161 AD and was renovated in 1950. This picture of a functioning theatre was taken on October 20, 2017. |
