Pictured is a North American Aviation T-6 Texan trainer aircraft at South Grand Lake Regional Airport, Oklahoma, on July 4th, 2023. It flew with a group of World War II Warbirds that take part in the annual 4th of July fireworks display at Duck Creek. The show has a tradition of over 80 years, and is the largest fireworks display in Oklahoma. The North American Aviation T-6 Texan is an American single-engined advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF), United States Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II and into the 1970s.
