| Gelendzhik - a city in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, a resort on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. The town is located twenty-five kilometers to the south-east of Novorossiysk at the foot of the western part of the mountain range Markoth on the coast of Gelendzhik Bay of the Black Sea. Entrance to the bay, the width of which is approximately equal to nautical mile, is situated between two headlands: the north is called the Thin Cape, South - Tolstoy, as the southern cape of the high and steep coast. |
