A pastyure in a typical Dutch streamvalley is bordered by a row of pollard willows. It`s crown hasn`t been topped for several years. In the left are two alder trees. In the pasture the sod has been removed and put in a mount. A new woodembankement will be planted and the bare soil will be sowed with seeds from plants typical to the dutch pastures in river valleys
