| San Francisco`s Presidio National Cemetery offers a well deserved and peaceful rest member of the military and some family. Prior to 1900,the city had at least 30 cemeteries. Most got moved to what is now the town of Colma,just South of San Francisco. Part of the original cemetery at the old Mission,and this one in the Presidio,being federal land,are all that remain.
