JR Kanazawa Station is one of the most beautiful train stations in Japan. A glass dome called 'Motenashi Dome' and a wooden gate called 'Tsuzumi-mon' welcome you when you get off the station. 'Motenashi' means 'welcome' in Japanese which accommodates an information center and event space underneath. 'Tsuzumi-mon' symbolizes a traditional Japanese hand drum called Tsuzumi.
