| The fourteenth century is the historical re-enactment of the battle of Casorate, which took place in 1356, which saw the Visconti army victorious and confirmed the dominion of Galeazzo and Bernabò Visconti over those territories that host the beautiful Cistercian abbey of Morimondo.
In this beautiful setting, associations of reenactors, both Italian and foreign, reconstruct a vast medieval encampment, transforming Morimondo and the plain below the abbey that slopes down towards the Ticino valley, into a place of other times
