Monument to the Sailor, located on Corso Due Mari, in the Borgo Nuovo. 7 meters high and dedicated to the sailors of the Italian Navy, it was made in bronze by the sculptor Vittorio Di Cobertaldo in 1974, commissioned by Admiral Angelo Iachino. The sculpture represents two sailors about to greet, with their caps in hand, the ships leaving for the Great Sea, or even in the act of welcoming their return to port.
