The Monastery contains and protects La Moreneta, named also the Black Virgin of Montserrat and her sanctuary. The mountains were associated in the Middle Ages with Parsifals search for the Holy Grail in the legends of King Arthur, which was kept in a mountaintop castle called Montsalvat |
