| This is a Monarch butterfly that was on my milkweed plant laying eggs. This is one of the butterflies that I try attracting so I can get the caterpillars and put them in my butterfly cage to protect them. They feed on the milkweed and then crawl to the top of the cage and make a chrysalis and eventually the Monarch butterfly emerges and then I let them go to start the cycle all over again. |
